Books
The Cantina Comunale di La Morra, a wine shop dedicated to wines produced in La Morra, has recently added a new title to its catalogue of publications, entitled 'The vineyard on the label'. It is a new addition to our small yet carefully curated selection of books, which, obviously, also includes Alessandro Masnaghetti's works. Below is a list of the titles we sell in our shop.

THE VINEYARD ON THE LABEL
on the fiftieth anniversary of the Cantina Comunale
1973 - 2023
written by Armando Gambera
Is a book written by La Morra-based author Armando Gambera, available in Italian as well as in English, which was published to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Cantina Comunale. After the first two editions from 1994 and 2006, it was decided to update the entire publication, detailing the great winemaking tradition of the village and the emergence of La Morra as one of the most important municipalities for the production of Barolo.
The book traces the history of Barolo, from its origins in Roman times to the present day, covering the most significant crus of the region along with the history of the association itself.
A special section is also dedicated to the member producers of La Morra, ordered alphabetically, describing each winery's history and winemaking philosophy and with a focus on the wines they produce, while also providing contact details and visiting hours.
