History
The Viberti Eugenio farm was established in the 1950s by Giacomo and Renata, who, at the time,
cultivated peaches, plums, apples, hazelnuts and vineyards, and already produced wine for family
consumption. In 2002, Giacomo's son Eugenio and his wife started vinifying Nebbiolo and Barolo
wine, made from grapes grown in the best exposed areas. In 2015, Eugenio's sons, Daniele and Fabrizio, joined the winery, which currently comprises 3.5 hectares of vineyards and 3.5 hectares of hazelnut groves.
People
The business is family-run and managed by Eugenio, his wife Rosella and sons Daniele and Fabrizio.
Vineyards
The vineyards are south and south-east facing and are all located near the winery in the hamlet of
Santa Maria.
Wines
Eugenio Viberty winery produces classic Langhe wines, such as Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo wines
from the 2016 vintage onwards.
