Mascarello Michele & Figli
Via Garibaldi, 3 La Morra CN | T. +39 017350103
History
It was 1927 when Michele Mascarello and his wife Maria decided to make a decisive change in their lifestyle, going from being simple farmers to winegrowers and merchants. Armed with just a few tools essential to winemaking, they laid the foundations of what was to become the future Mascarello Michele & Figli company. In 1948 his sons Luciano, Umberto and Marco also started working in the small company. Since the 1980s it has been the grandsons of the founders Alfio, Paolo, Ivo and Fabio who have become the protagonists with innovations and improvements, taking the Mascarello name around the world. In March 2020 Umberto Mascarello, administrator and soul of the company, passed away. At the end of 2020 the Mascarello s.n.c. company was acquired by Fabio Mascarello and Caterina Valletti, Mr. Umberto's son and wife respectively. Messrs Alfio, Paolo and Ivo worked in the Mascarello cellars until the end of December 2020.
